If that's the case, then your outrage should be directed towards the fact that clean hits are being fined, and not the amount of the fine itself.

clay is outraged because 20k is more than he will make in his lifetime.

Have you seen some of the bullshit they're handing out fines for?

Definitely worthy of taking 1/3 of a guy's paycheck.

I'm guessing the debt you're in up to your eyeballs over is a lot more than 20k.

Chiefs Pantalones 09-07-2011 05:17 PM

lol I find it hard to feel sorry for anyone that makes $5,700 per week.

It was and it is.

kstater 09-07-2011 05:19 PM

Pretty textbook as regards to leading helmet to a defenseless receiver. What's the outrage?

Bugeater 09-07-2011 05:20 PM

Jesus Christ you guys, he led with his ****ing helmet right into the other guy's helmet. That's an illegal hit.

That's only for 17 weeks, and he can be cut at any time during those 17 weeks.

This guy's JOB is football. He has 17 weeks a year where he's earning a regular paycheck....if he's lucky.

This is total garbage. A freaking UDFA.

I don't think anyone is saying they shouldn't fine him, I think they are saying it should be based more on their salary.

KurtCobain 09-07-2011 05:23 PM

Yeah, that hit was definitely worth a fine.

And as for income based fines, bleh. They all play the same game.

LMAO

Please, he's lowering his helmet trying to avoid a helmet to helmet hit.

Hell, you can see him trying to lead with his arm. The game is moving so fast, he sees the guy catching the ball, a split second later he drops it.....bullshit call, bullshit fine, bullshit commissioner.

That's not what some are saying at all.
