How is Polian the best GM in pro sports? He's had the best QB in history for a decade and a half with 1 ring to show for it. Minus that QB, they don't sniff the playoffs. I don't get it.

Hmm he built Buffalo Bills teams of the early 90s and also made Panthers into NFC runner ups in their second season.

If I'm the Colts.....what year would I rather take a QB in the 1st round? Hmmm.....I'm pretty sure I'd rather have the QBs in the next years class than the ones in this past class.

Kerry Collins was the QB in Carolina back then. I believe they did draft him out of Penn State

He drafted Collins and the Bills already had Kelly's rights but he convinced him to play for the Bills. He didn't draft Kelly or Bruce Smith, but he built most of that roster.

Polian didn't draft Kelly, but got him back from the USFL in '86.

I'm pretty sure that Manning never told the Colts...."If you draft a QB...then I'll leave forever!". The Colts have had opportunities to get a capable backup for Manning in the last couple of years.....they just never took the opportunity.

Why can't the Chiefs have them on the schedule this year? They have a few ass whoopins coming.
