I heard some of the same things from a pretty good source of course I didn't make a thread about it as those types of things don't go well.

Sorry... but if Haley is fired, that's the front office's way of blaming other people for their mistakes. Haley can only coach what he's given. If the front office is souring on Cassel, isn't that their way of saying "we gave you the wrong pieces to work with"?

Ferentz may work with Pioli, but the other two would not. Also, time-line doesn't make sense. Soured on Cassel a few months ago...during the middle of the summer during the lockout? And we essentially have no backup quarterback. Soured on Cassel and went into the season with Palko as #2?

Pioli is so smart he knew we might lose out on Luck if we have a backup QB capable of playing in high school.
