every inside runner we've got struggles for yards ... first it was "McClain ran for 1,000 yrds and is so much quicker" now it's 'Battle will save us!!'

It's the interior blocker and the offense in general

Battle does a little better because he commits to such a heavy forward body lean to gain 3 yards that he gains more than the others. But he also pretty much falls down at 3/4 yrds whether he's touched or not because of it.

They built this offense with a shrimpy center and guards that could pull because they wanted to run outside so they struggle to move people. Not going downfield in the passing game also lets the defense stack the LOS.
