Fayetteville is a GREAT town. Worked at one of the rock stations there; possibly my favorite gig ever.

I like Arkansas, I've been there a few times.

And there are an inordinate number of complete hotties at U of A.

I love Eureka Springs. Probably one of my favorite shopping spots. So many neat stores and items.

When I was working in Memphis and driving back and forth from Springfield every weekend, I LOVED driving down 63 in NE Arkansas. Mammoth Springs, Hardy, etc. Great natural beauty and quaint small towns.

I went to the University of Arkansas until I could no longer afford it and moved back to Texas. Fayetteville is amazing. Love the place. Took my wife there in March, her first time and she loved it. Wouldn't mind moving back if I found a job in NWA. Definitely worth a fall trip.

Never been. It seems like one of the best towns in the SEC, though.

Hey love that's where I'm from! Grew up on the Spring River, lived in Mammoth and Thayer all my life. Beautiful place and good place to be from, but not live after you get out of high school.

The worst stretch of 63 was West Plains to Thayer...lol. Once I got to Thayer, the scenery became worth the two lane highway and slowing down for small towns.

Used to stop at the state park in Mammoth Springs, and took a lot of pictures. Stopped in Hardy a few times to window shop and stretch my legs whenever I had time. Even though they have the turn off that takes you around Hardy, I always chose to drive through, unless I was running behind.

Tim's Pizza. Nice little joint where you can drink beer and eat good pizza.

oh HELL yeah. Tim's rules! Eureka Pizza is great as well. Also, George's Majestic Lounge is my all-time favorite bar.

Went to the members sneak peek of the Walton's newest contribution to the region: the, horribly named but beautifully executed, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.

I was completely blown away. The setting, the architecture, the collection. Holy shit. It's definitely worth driving down. Admission is free. Check out the photo gallery here from last night (not my pictures).

Those are some unbelieveable pics. While I agree that the name is terrible, I'm pretty excited to have something of that caliber right in my back yard. The wife and I have plans to check it out ASAP...

Thanks for posting those...

It's seriously awe-inspiring. I hardly looked at the art because I was obsessing over the architecture. It will definitely be a must-see anytime we have people come in from out of town. Alice may be a lush, but she did us a service with this.
