A real coach would've burned all three timeouts there and maxed out 4 more plays before the end of the 3rd quarter. EFFICIENCY!

Hell, I'm impressed we still had all 3 time outs at the end of the 3rd. We're usually good for blowing one or two for some dumbass reason.

They squandered a golden opportunity to run McCluster up the middle for a half yard gain and a chance to fumble.

Actually, I agree that the coaching and management on this team is pathetic. We have had a new offensive coordinator every season since Pioli has been the GM here. That fact alone is unacceptable. Gaily had absolutely nothing to work with and still managed to score points with it. Why was is to urgent to run him off? These clowns can't seem to get along with anybody including themselves. It really pains me to see this proud franchise become the joke of the NFL. Yes we are the Kansas City Royals of the NFL now.

Why run another play in that situation? It really doesn't make any sense to.

Well that is what you get when the playcalling has to go from Muir to Haley and to Zorn and then to the QB. This is one of the reasons that so many Head Coaches call the plays.

Prepare for what situation? It was the end of the 3rd quarter.
