Right, and it's not like this is the first time Chiefs fans have suffered.

I was at the playoff game last year, and didn't think it was nearly as loud as the Donx-Chiefs regular season game I went to as a kid in 2002. I guess I'm just having my doubts that Arrowhead's ever going to be as loud as it used to be.

Suppose I should worry about the team on the field, but I think we all have our doubts about that, too.

I remember that discussion about the Ravens playoff game the day after. People were saying it wasn't loud enough. Lots of fans have never experienced a January game at Arrowhead. It's not as loud because it's always cold, and you can't make as much noise in gloves, mittens and scarves as you can in 60-degree weather. Plus, the Chiefs laid an egg the entire second half of that playoff game. Hard to get loud when the team gives you nothing to cheer about.

You've got a point there. I was at the Chiefs/Colts playoff game in 1996 and it was not as near as loud as any of the other games I attended in the regular season. It's hard to get loud when you are wearing 10 lbs. of winter clothes.
