Rodgers is going to destroy us.

Destroy. Crush. Kill.

Bearcat 12-09-2011 03:10 PM

The Packers' offensive line isn't that good, but Rodgers makes it look pretty good at times... Starks is banged up and sucks, and Grant hasn't been good this year. 29th in the league in rushing yards.

Every team knows these things, and it doesn't matter.

At least I know I'll get a game that includes a decent QB... hopefully the Chiefs' D can provide enough resistance to make it interesting for a little while.

Let's hear it for the possibility of a moral victory!!

The Packers D isn't that good. We might be able to hit the under and cover the spread if we focus on running a Tebow style offense. We'd still get our taints handed to us, but not as miserably.

Tyler Palko starting against that team, trying to run a conventional offense, is a recipe for the worst ass whipping in Arrowhead history.

Shogun 12-09-2011 03:13 PM

How awesome would it be for Tyler Palko to defeat the undefeatable?

It will happen

Could end up with two of the three worst home losses in team history in one season.

The Packers are able to plug in any shitty RB and get unimpressive yet adequate yards via the ground nearly every game.

It appears that Brandon Saine is this year's James Starks. They'll probably be held to under 100 by our rush defense, but that's going to be enough

I sure hope so. I have Rodgers in the sem-finals that week and he could hang 45 FF pts on us easily that day. I see the game count 48-10, and that is being generous.

Hey, if they beat the Jets and aren't awful against the Packers, we can all spend the next week talking about their playoff chances at 8-8. LMAO

mlyonsd 12-09-2011 03:26 PM

Ok here's the plan.

One of you guys in KC find out when the GB plane is scheduled to land. Put on a white shirt with black pants and a nice hat.

Find the team bus they've rented. Scope out the driver and when he wanders into the restroom follow him in there and bounce an axe handle off his head. When the team lands load them up and then drive aimlessly around KC. Better yet get on I-70 going east.

Make sure you keep them on the bus long enough until they are forced into a forfeit.

Of course they might eventually rip you limb from limb but your name will go down in the annals of CP history. You will never be forgotten. And, the surviving 72 dolphins will probably start a trust fund for your family.

Could be fun, I think Donald Washington's blazing speed could be a great fit for containing Randall Cobb.

Whuh?

Jennings is an awful matchup for Flowers. He doesn't rely on size, he relies on speed and moves. Jennings will burn Flowers deep at least once.

Jones is also a terrible matchup for Arenas for many of the same reasons. Arenas simply isn't big or athletic enough to hang with Jones. Daniels v. Driver is an edge for us because Daniels is playing pretty well right now and Driver is a dinosaur. McGraw v. Finley...God help us. And in what universe does Washington have blazing speed?

Sorry, but we're very clearly an athlete short in the secondary. With Berry back there you could cheat a little and ensure that your corners have steady help over the top, but McGraw just can't cover that ground. Worse still, with Belcher being a liability in coverage and Houston being raw, we really need to focus on giving our LBs safety help. DJ could do a lot, but we'll probably want to have him dialed up in some blitz schemes or Rodgers will maul us.

I'm sorry, but this secondary most assuredly does not match up well against the Packers. Maybe it will next season (presuming Carr returns and Berry comes back healthy), but not this year.

Ugh, I hate rematches for the championship.

That last preseason game we played was basically the Graham Harrell show, and we very nearly beat them. If we turn it into the Graham Harrell show on Sunday, we have a chance.

Other than that... umm... yeah. We're going to lose. Big time.

Speaking of that, how in the mother of all ****s does the pack go from Favre to Rodgers. Then have Flynn and Harrell on the bench. While we have dumb and dumber then Stanzi.

My guess is we will hold Rodgers to an off day. 102.3 QB rating, 299 yards passing and 2 TDs.

Packers win 27 to 3.
