My only concern is when we do mock drafts and the like. It'd be nice to have a special mod for that subforum so they can change stuff up in the thread as need be.
Other than that I see no problem. Although I think it's absolutely idiotic that some people bitch about the clutter of subforums before they get to the lounge, and I'd love to be able to piss them off. |
Draftplanet and Casinoplanet couldn't be more different.
Leave them separate, leave them both up at the top, but give people the option to hide whatever subforums they want. Simple. |

I agree it would be idiotic to complain about subforums at the top.
Can I change my vote to **** YEAH! LET'S DO THIS. Posted via Mobile Device |

The issue with the option to hide the subforums is that there's no way to default forums to "hidden" in the software, so new users and people who aren't observant have a shit ton up there. |

The question is more about the audience and not the topics...
Is there enough overlap with those two forums and the people using them? I would say yes off-hand but I haven't really looked in to it. On a related topic... DaFace, I bet I can find a way to auto-hide subforums as well. If you want, I'll look in to it. |

I vote I don't care.
I just bookmarked the Lounge, very rarely venture into any of the subforums and have never noticed any clutter at the top of my screen. |
Just call it "Fantasy Planet" to cover betting, fantasy teams and the many many mock drafts

I know one thing, I don't want to have to sift through dumb betting threads to read about draft prospects.

I suppose there's an option in here of doing a non-destructive "merge" of the two where we leave all the old stuff in one forum or another and give it a try for a year. We'd have to figure out the details of how to make that work, but it might be possible if we're nervous that it might suck. |
