You guys understand that police can basically seize sums of cash over 10,000 dollars because carrying that kind of cash is suspicious itself.

I remember a story years ago of a woman getting 30+ grand in cash seized at an airport. It was her boob job money. They didn't find any drugs or anything. I'd imagine they eventually get the money returned, but I've never had $10,000+ seized from me.

Isn’t the typical procedure to have someone he knows pick up the car or impound it? I’ve never gotten a DUI, so I don’t know. So, yes, I would expect them to leave the money in his possession via however they handle the car. The guns, only if they were registered to him and not loaded.

His car will be towed, "impounded", and most likely search.
All of the possessions he has on him and in his car can/will be confiscated but officers stuffing money in their pockets isn't any confiscation procedure I've ever heard of.

Sure and no they don't always get it back.
It can be "tied up as evidence in an ongoing investigation" and you'd spend $30,000 in lawyers fees trying to get your $10,000 back.

LOL just because he had money, doesn't mean he'd waste it on loans.

I'm assuming mikey is a cop. A normal person wouldn't get so upset over simple questions about police procedures.

Listen gestapo, not everyone has been brainwashed into believing every citizen is a criminal.

This guy is so whacked out on his own drug cocktail it's not even funny.

As far as money goes: a guy was in Vegas gambling, acting whacked out, tipping waitresses 100 bills, was clutching a small duffel bag like his life depended on it. Pit bosses called the cops after he started getting belligerent. In jail he started bragging that he killed two people in Los Angeles, that he was a badass.
After investigating with LAPD they learned He had killed his room mate/drug dealer with a hammer in bed. That woke the girlfriend and he killed her too. She was my cousin. I'm glad they nabbed him. The duffel bag was full of cash he stole. He took a taxi to Vegas from LA.
