I'm not really sure what Mendoza was trying to accomplish with that batting practice pitch to Konerko.

I actually am somewhat of a Getz fan. I like the way he plays even though he isn't great or anything. I don't blame him for Yost's ineptness.

Getz has no great tools but the work ethic and technique. You gotta respect that, even if you recognize he is best used as a platoon player at second.

I'm not sure what a "Grunge ****" is, but I would like to "grudge ****" her.
