COD went downhill with #2 for me. The skill level nose dived. Health regen was added. Then they added little dots on the radar any time someone fired a shot. Just dumb. Games a joke now. I tried MW and just lost interest in the franchise as a whole. It's a pub game now.

COD2 was by far the best but only because I strictly and only played on a sniper only server. Hours upon hours of my life was given to that game.

MW2

MW2 was the first I played. I actually bought an Xbox after several years without gaming just for that game. Plus I had a bunch of friends that would always get on so it was a good time.

I LOVED the maps- Afghan, Storm, Favela, Highrise, Crash, Wasteland, Skidrow, Sub Base. The only one I can remember actually disliking was Karachi, although Derail was petty 'meh'.

Loved playing with the Tar-21. Shotguns as secondary weapon was much better as well; I used to go off with the Spas.

Black Ops was more arcade-y, if that's even the right word. Definite step down in graphics and sound effects from MW2 but fun nonetheless. I had a bunch of friends on this game as well so that kept it interesting.

The maps were decent. I loved Summit and that's about it. Didn't particularly hate any of them but none were memorable for me.

Killstreaks blew outside of Blackbird and Dogs (which were amazing, by the way).

It was probably the one that I was best at. I think I had like a 1.93 or something last time I played but felt like I was damn near unstoppable. That's due mostly to lightweight and marathon pro. I'd run around like a madman with an SMG and just annihilate everyone that wasn't camping. If everyone played run-n-gun like I did my k/d would have been much higher.

MW3 is pretty good, technically, but there's just something about it that doesn't click. I pretty much only play with one friend now and he's constantly bitching about it so maybe that's what it is.

Shottys are better than in Black Ops, so that's a plus.

The maps are kind of a unique situation for me. I pretty much hate every map; but I LOVE Seatown, Dome, Hardhat and Lockdown. I guess that kind of evens out to average but since I actually like some of the maps it gets the nod over Black Ops.

Plus this is the game I became proficient with the C4 and RPG. When I get hot with the explosives I'm a ****ing nightmare. LMAO I have sooo many good memories making people explode!

To end this super-long-post-for-no-apparent-reason, I'd say MW2 was probably the best one.

COD4 was easily the best of all of them. The campaign was awesome - especially trying to complete it on veteran. I probably put 30+ days into the MP. Just so much fun.

MW2 & Black Ops are fairly close. Probably give the edge to Black Ops because it wasn't hacked as much - at least I never saw - & zombies.

MW3 is fun, but only playing Infected. I haven't touched any other MP format on that game in over 2 months.

World at War was the worst of all of them. Campaign sucked. MP was the most hacked game I've ever seen. Piece of shit game.

All of you who voted for Treyarch titles deserve to be castrated and have your voting rights revoked.

Played campaign in COD3. Then got started with multiplayer in MW2, then to COD4, then Blops and then MW3.

My feelings...

MW2 could be my favorite because of my home town friends i played with and the fact that you can use any kind of weapon and be effective, plus the maps were awesome. Blops is the one I'm the best at by far. I love the shotty and the fun classes like knives and flamethrower. COD4 would easily be my favorite if i had played it when it came out i think. That game is super fun even though I'm YEARS behind the release when i started. The hacks suck, but the game is awesome. Good maps, good guns. MW3 is ****ing infuriating. Can't stand that game.

I prefer the Multiplayer over campaign. I don't usually even play the campaigns.

So....

1. MW2- More options on weapons, best maps, longest replay value. Spec ops was awesome as well.
2. Black Ops- My best game. Love some of the guns, hate others. Fewer options than MW2, maps are better than most games.
3. COD4- years too late and this game is still fun to play. I wish i had made the release.
4. COD3- only played the campaign on PS2, but it was a fun game.
5. A dog turd covered in burnt hair
6. MW3- Infected is the only good thing from this game.

I like Treyarch's work, except WaW

I actually like W@W a lot even though 90% of the people who play it use the same class on every map (MP40 with the round drum, Jugg, Steady Aim)

The kill cams in that game are hilarious. NOBODY ever aims down site in W@W, all they do is run around hipfiring their MP40's.

This for me. We would just get on and win almost everything. I loved how they ironed out most of the minor flaws from COD4:MW.

Still, COD4:MW was just so unbelievably revolutionary at the time - it played soooo well. I remember playing the beta and being completely blown away.

Playing MW2 with Kraus, Buck, Plow and CJ (and sometimes even Quickies) was some of the funnest gaming of all time for me. But even outside of that, I'd probably vote for MW2 just because the guns felt so good, the gameplay was amazing and it was just a fun ****ing game.

Who was it that always bitched when we wanted to play HC?

I still play it from time to time. Lots of fun.
