No.
Get a franchise QB. Hire a head coach who knows how to discipline his players. Get a coordinator that isn't from the tree. It really isn't that hard. And Pioli could have made headway on all of these things if he wasn't so obsessed about proving the Patriot Way is the only way. |
We've got:
Franchise bookend tackles A WR with a dark chocolate penis Jamaal ****ing Charles Some key cornerstones in our secondary Incredible talent in our starting linebackers Let's get rid of them all just in case our next GM wants to institute the Ravens Way or the Giants Way or the Packers Way or the 49ers Way. We can't have any Patriot Way players leftover to mess with that. Stupid question |

After all, Haley could go 1 and 3 with 53 guys off the street. What we need is a new GM. The right guy in that chair and all our other issues begin to dissolve away like an alka-seltzer tablet in a glass of scotch. FAX |

Do you think a new gm would come in and give Bowe Larry Fitzgerald money? He is our only threat receiving wise, it's a legitimate question. |
To expand:
QB: We obviously need one (or two) RB: Charles/Draughn/Gray and Hillis as a wildcard this is a pretty talented group FB: Why do we even have a FB on the roster anymore? TE: Moeaki/Boss We have two talented albeit injury prone players. This position could use some solidification, but is probably above league average. WR: Bowe/Baldwin/Breaston/McCluster/Wylie I would say we have a glut of talent at WR, but I guess you can always use more. OT: Albert/Winston/Stephenson Two pro-bowl level starters and one developmental project. I guess we could add a fourth? OG: Asamoah/Allen Again, two talented players who require some further development, but are currently satisfactory C: Hudson Obviously an adequate center. We could use some additional depth on the interior of the line. DL: Jackson/Dorsey/Poe/Powe/Bailey/Pitoitua There are a lot of nice pieces to build a defense around on this line. You have to establish what kind of defense you would run and pick the applicable pieces. LB: Hali/Houston/DJ/Belcher/Siler Again, as with the defensive line, there are some nice pieces to choose from here. CB: Flowers/Routt/Arenas/Brown/Menzie We could use more CB depth, but obviously the starters are adequate. S: Berry/Lewis This is probably the weakest position outside of QB on the roster. We could use either a free safety or a strong safety. Berry can perform either role, but unfortunately can't do both at once. |

Roleo is driving me nuts ... and so are the injuries, but we honestly have the horses on D to shut down an offense if we're playing with enthusiasm and within a scheme that makes sense. FAX |

I also don't think this team has nearly the talent others here claim. Instead of people willing to be wrong in their assessment of players, they'd rather blame everything else. This roster needs some work, and it's showing on Sundays. |

Let's get real. We're talking about Scott Pioli, who is a bigger cheapskate than Carl ever was. And even then, it's too bad we're not ****ing swimming in money to spend |

I sometimes wonder if we have the wrong guys, or we're asking them to do the wrong things. The result's the same. Hard to tell, at this point. FAX |

Yes I do http://arrowheadaddict.com/2012/08/2...chief-in-2013/ Excerpt from the article: We don’t know what each side’s final offer was, but it appears Bowe was demanding Larry Fitzgerald money while offering slightly less than Fitzgerald skills. However, salary decisions are based on a cost-benefit analysis and I don’t see anyone who offers the same or greater benefit for the same or lower cost. I may be wrong but I firmly believe one of the reasons Pioli drafted Baldwin was to eventually replace Bowe. |
NEWSFLASH: BOWE WILL NOT RESIGN HERE!
