3. When he broke the bat over his knee after striking out one time. He made that bat look like it was nothing more than a toothpick.

Remember when he would run on the wall?

I remember the article afterwards where he had the shades on (big front page spot) and he was golden overnight...

This is what I hate.

The NFL should allow this to be purchased and viewed.

They have such a huge library of games they're just sitting on...

Bo and DT were absolutely the pinnacle of idol worship in my young life. Posters, shoes, any media I could get my hands on, I HAD to have. The day after his injury I punched my best friend in the face at school for making fun of Bo.
A few months ago, ESPN did a small piece on him organizing a celebrity bike ride through Alabama for hurricane victims, and while watching it, all these years later, I still had that childhood twinge of idol worship...

I keep saying it but read his book.

Hell, "steal" it, I'm not above promoting that.

If I had it available for d/l I'd share.

Can't wait for this. There is still a Bo Jackson poster on the inside of the door of my childhood room at my moms house. He was epic.

I was too young to watch him. Was it weird when he played the Chiefs?

It was the only time I ever cared about baseball.

Yes, I would say his talent was "weird."

Filthy stinking draft-dodging Raider. Shame on every one of you who say good things about a draft-dodging, filthy, stinking Raider.

He's no better than Elway in my book.

Demonpenz 12-04-2012 10:21 PM

I remember him striking out a dick ton and misplaying balls. Oh yeah and hitting a ball where the Miller Light party porch is now 476 feet away.

This was the coolest card to have, when I was a kid.

His bat hitting the ball made a sound like no other. PURE power. Just amazing.
