I had a similar incident as to where my ss was compromised. All I had to do was make a police report and monitor credit report. That being said my credit sucks so if I was the upgrade they were looking for they probably robbed a pawn shop and then shot themselves in the face.

The hassel of replacing the contents of the wallet is worse than anything. I just spent 4 hrs at the DMV replacing my DL and spent a couple more on the phone cancelling cards.

So, because some little ****sticks can't keep their hands to themselves, I've already lost a whole days pay plus the new DL and expedited shipping for my cards and I'm not done yet.
