Seeings how Peter King broke the story on 610, absolutely...

To be fair he's way more infamous than Troy Polamalu!

Exactly. It was on NFL AM and I thought wtf for?

Rain Man 07-24-2013 04:29 PM

We need to give Larry a break. He grew up in a two-parent household with a father who makes $200,000 a year.

Wait a minute. I think something seems wrong in that excuse.

I hoped this thread was about that GrandLlama guy that gave us free streams back in 2010 or 2011.

Dave Lane 07-24-2013 05:03 PM

Wow he's only 33 could still be playing if he cared about anything besides being and wanting pussy

It does indeed seem that time is proving Dick to be right.

I don't recall. Was it Dick's idea or Carl's idea to draft him? I remember some controversy since we had the best running back in the league already on the roster.

As much as we malign LJ, the weird thing is that he was still one of the best picks we could've made that year. The only obviously better picks would've been to stay in place and draft Polamalu or take Charles Tillman.

16 16 Troy Polamalu Steelers DB USC
17 17 Bryant Johnson Cardinals WR Penn State
18 18 Calvin Pace Cardinals DE Wake Forest
19 19 Kyle Boller Ravens QB California
20 20 George Foster Broncos T Georgia
21 21 Jeff Faine Browns C Notre Dame
22 22 Rex Grossman Bears QB Florida
23 23 Willis McGahee Bills RB Miami (FL)
24 24 Dallas Clark Colts TE Iowa
25 25 William Joseph Giants DT Miami (FL)
26 26 Kwame Harris 49ers T Stanford
27 27 Larry Johnson Chiefs RB Penn State
28 28 Andre Woolfolk Titans DB Oklahoma
29 29 Nick Barnett Packers LB Oregon State
30 30 Sammy Davis Chargers DB Texas A&M
31 31 Nnamdi Asomugha Raiders DB California
32 32 Tyler Brayton Raiders DE Colorado
2 1 33 Eric Steinbach Bengals G Iowa
2 34 Boss Bailey Lions LB Georgia
3 35 Charles Tillman Bears DB Louisiana-Lafayette
4 36 Eugene Wilson Patriots DB Illinois

Nnamdi would have been a good pick, but LJ was good value.

He was excellent value where he was picked.

Carl wanted LJ. DV wanted Tyler Brayton.

Should have taken Polamalu or Barnett. :)

Only a $345 fine? For ****s sake, spilling a drop of oil on the ground is $10,000.
