Just like i said last season, maybe this team isn't as talented as we all think it is.

I agree that we have some talented players, but they have yet to put it all together on a weekly basis. And it's not like we're talking about a bunch of rookies either.

DJ and JC...and Colquit seem to be the only players who played consistently well last season.

So until i see the rest of the team do that, i'm not going to even think about pushing for a playoff spot.

Like i said, they have a lot to prove and aren't really deserving of some of the recent fluff articles.

Chiefs have a defense, but they had a huge liability in starting Dorsey on the DL -- teams ran at him when it was go time and he never failed -- for them.

DJ was another liability -- all that talent was as iratic as it can be, short of insanity. Last september during a gamecast, announcers cut to a replay just to show DJ running himself completely out of a play and the worst part was, nobody could even figure out who he was going after. DJ was a huge reason this team and defense was iratic at best, downright horrible at times. The worst part -- he just came off a season previous where he finally began to look consistent. But he got himself checked in and went back to work, was a beast by the end of the 2012 season.

Watching TC film the past weeks, DJ has his game on. He's going to be a god damn stud now. watch. He's going to wreck games.

It's because of those two positions the Chiefs are going to excel this season. Devito is no Dorsey folks. You'll see what I mean once we get going. And DJ, heh. Say a prayer for opposing RB's -- hopefully they don't all end up like Matt Forte.

Combined with an offense featuring Jamaal Charles, Bowe & Fasano, I expect this team to be in the upper class of the NFL this season. Top 10 team.

If the Chiefs win the division, Pioli should be publicly flogged during the extended halftime of the playoff game.
