I wonder if he dictated this into the secret microphone placed in his desk?

No. 1 might've been easier if he hadn't have focused on candy wrappers and closing blinds.

Translated: I was in over my head.
Intended message to rest of league: I've learned from my mistakes. Hire me! |

10 things I will say I've learned..... Hire me?

This tells me that Pioli had no business in the job in the first place. All of these things, every single one of them, should have been completely understood before hand with a plan to manage them. I liked Haley frankly, and it is obvious to me that Pioli was always the problem here. I still doubt that even if he now understands these issues that he will be able to develop strategies to manage them. I think that gig is over for him, forever.
I must say that I think Hunt figured this out by dividing responsibilities. A coach would have to be crazy to want full control anymore. An owner giving it is crazier still. |

4 years of draft choices, only guys still on the roster:
2009: Tyson Jackson, Ryan Succop (his first and last pick in 2009) 2010: Eric Berry, Dexter McCluster, Jon Asamoah, Kendrick Lewis. 2011: Rodney Hudson, Justin Houston, Allen Bailey. 2012: Dontari Poe, Jeff Allen, Donald Stephenson, Cyrus Gray, Junior Hemmingway. So in four year, Pioli drafted 31 players. In four years only 14 stuck. Not too good, eh? |
