Gray was wide the **** open.

He missed him.

and seriously, that throw to bowe was perfect. its bowe's job to make that play. be mad at him for letting a small corner nudge him further out of bounds. no sideline awareness.

You can wash his nuts all you want. He DID play his best HALF ever, but couldn't finish the deal. The "defense" can claim a whole hell of a lot of the blame, but missing a wide open Gray for a TD, the fumble, grounding call (he damn sure could have thrown it at Shermans feet), and then throwing the final ball to Bowe out of bounds can't completely absolve him of blame.

Bowe had a huge 3-5 drop in 2nd half. Gray how many reps you think Alex got with him answer is none. On Grounding call as soon as Alex turned around the D was in his face nothing he could do.

Another way of saying he manages to not get in trouble.

Oddly, THAT is my issue with him. He's afraid to make mistakes and in doing that very rarely makes big plays.

HE DID throw his best deep ball (possibly) ever to Avery in the first half, but I can't recall another pass over 14 yards downfield that was on target.

Before someone brings this up, I will say he's obviously better than Castle, but that's like saying a prostate exam is better than a colonoscopy.
I don't look forward to either one.

So you think he's a top 10 qb?

ChiefsCountry 01-05-2014 03:05 PM

I would rather trade him to the Texans or the Browns, draft Bridgewater and roll for the next decade.

I think he has a chance to approach good/great with time with Andy and improvements on the offense.
