MM's not wrong, though. Alex Smith will help out Charles the most.

So you help Charles by helping Alex Smith. You do that by giving him more weapons.

Alex Smith will reach his full potential with a game-breaker at TE. Kelce, who the hell knows. But Ebron or Amaro would really, really help.

That will help the Chiefs the best. Another way?

Draft Ebron, have Kelce come back healthy, and have TWO tight ends that defenses have to account for.

Bingo.

Keeping that 8th man out of the box helps the guards as well, without spending a high pick on a guard.

I think we draft Jace or Eric like a lot have said and then in the 3rd we pickup an OG like Ryan Groy or Tre Jackson.

Draft is very deep at the wr and a gem I believe could be had in the 5th round with a guy like Jeff Janis (tall and fast wr) or maybe the kid from Pitt (Devon is it?)

I'm starting to think hageman should be the pick, with a wr in round 3

This.

Two fast TE's who can pull backers and safeties out of the box.

Hageman would be an outstanding pick. No question. I struggle to think of a player I'd take over him at 23.

That said, I think he's gone in the first 15 picks.

If he lasts, however, you absolutely have to take him. You can't win in the NFL without an elite DL unless you've got an elite QB.

Bingo.

Hageman, Poe, catapano/bailey/devito would be solid.

I disagree.

Instead of fortifying the OL with another high pick, the best thing you can do is force defenses to backpedal, instead of stack the box.

You do that with receiving weaponry. A first-round WR is probably a must if (a.) an elite DL isn't available, or (b.) Ebron or Amaro aren't available.

I am not suggesting that we draft a guard with the first pick.

I want a TE, or a WR if we go offense in the first.

But I am still not certainvof Alex Smith, and untl I am, if the question is who I believe can help Jamaal the most, that answer is someone who can help block and create holes for Jamaal.
