I'm going to be gone on a business trip, so my wife gets the best Valentine's Day gift ever - an evening with her friends.

That does sound like a great gift for her. Good job.

Hopefully there will be Olympic figure skating on NBC to put her in the mood.

My wife cares 0 about Valentine's Day. It's awesome. We'll go out on Thursday night but our usual monthly date night(2 little kids so it's hard to get out more than that)but we always do that mid month. I'll get her flowers because I'm not a total douche but that's about it.
