The current drummer and guitar player have been in the band since 1991 and 2002. Paul and Gene didn't exclude Ace and Peter from a HOF reunion, they just also wanted include the current band. Ace and Peter said no.

Ace & Peter were there when KISS was at its zenith. They became just another 80s hair band... No one cares about Tommy Thayer. Tommy who, you ask? Exactly. I would say stay classy, but Gene (or Chaim, as his birth certificate reads) never had it. Chaim looks like an old indian. All he lacks is the headband and some feathers.
