QB coach is to blame, not a 2nd round rookie QB. He's has to be taught what to do in critical situations.

He was quite a bit better down the stretch. If it works for Fisher, it works for Smith...

That's true, but the other side of that coin is that the Chiefs didn't sign anyone as a contingency plan. They let their contingency plan go.
