Sadly I believe he will end up a bust, but as a fan I hope he becomes a bad ass.

It like really messes with my head when I think that KC actually had the number 1 pick and this is what we got . :(

What kind of procedure did he have on his shoulder? If it was a labrum or rotator cuff I doubt he'll be 100% when the season starts. He definitely won't be any more muscular then he was last season.

Exactly. Lets see how he does now that he's healthy and playing his natural position. All those dogging the guy couldn't have played through any of it.

That's what I'm thinking, how is he going to lift after a shoulder op?

I'm not an elite alathlete either. With those types of surgeries, the chances of him being able to bulk up and fill out his frame are slim to none. As others have said, poor Alex.....

But it also means if his shoulder was stinging all year long, then just being healthy will make him stronger. That and him transitioning to a position where agility is more important than strength. A few people have commented that Fisher often looked like he was compensating for his shoulder. When you use bad technique, that's when groin injuries can happen.

I'm worried about if the kid just can't stay healthy. And an offseason of conditioning would have been nice. But it's silly to think last year was representative of his ceiling if he was playing hurt. I'm sure the doctors wouldn't recommend surgery for a phantom injury.

Why wouldn't he have had this surgery in, say, February?

Shoulder, groin, hand/wrist injuries last year. I hope he's not Glass Joe.
