Ate at Port Fonda tonight and just about died and went to heaven. Holy shit the donuts.

I'm pretty sure everywhere has a plethora of great restaurants compared to Houston. I just moved to Seattle and the food is glorious.

Had the Peanut wings last Friday. I was not impressed. They were overcooked and their house bleu cheese dressing tasted like shit.

There are some awesome restaurants down there. The trouble is they are so spread out.

Between Westport, The Plaza, Waldo and Overland Park there's incredible variety and quality in a 10 mile radius.

Same, Main St. location. Their bleu had a metallic taste. I noticed a unfamiliar face in the kitchen when I picked them up, so I chalked it up to that.

That looks like ranch in Zoner's photo.

Having lived in Seattle as well...Houston does not compare. In Houston you have to search for good places (and there certainly are some). In Seattle they're everywhere.

I was at the one in downtown OP. Yes, their bleu cheese does look like ranch. Tastes like it, too. I asked the waitress about it because I really thought it was just shitty ranch, and she told me it was their house bleu cheese. Disgusting.

Dude, you talk about eating crap quite frequently these days. Did you ditch the whole "being fit" thing? Donuts, winsteads burgers and shakes, taco john's....what gives?

I like a smaller wing - big wings sort of freak me out.

I walked 5 miles yesterday and also lifted for an hour.

Breakfast: 4 soft-boiled eggs
Lunch: 40g protein shake
Snack: Apple
Dinner: fried corn tortilla chips, two housemade salsas, chorizo rojo, pozole verde, ricotta donuts with mexican hot chocolate and a La Paloma to make me feel gooooood.

Believe me it's a struggle.

I've only had their bleu cheese once, at the 127th location in OP. I could tell I would have liked it if I liked bleu cheese, but I can't stand that bitter flavor.
