it's great as long as you use dumpster diving as a supplement to the big name stud guys

True or False

We have more holes on the roster now than we did when Dorsey took over.

What was the biggest hole in the roster before Dorsey?

Now what is it after Dorsey?

We have more holes than in Blackburn Lancashire.

Any old enough to get that?

Just because there was a 'name' in the positions, Flowers, Dorsey, ect. Doesn't mean we didn't have holes. They were just familiar names and obviously their production didn't lead to wins so...But the names fooled some into thinking we were only 1-2 guys away. We now have some young guys trying to make their own name and suddenly we have holes because they are inexperienced?

Almost everyone was an unknown at some point. Who was Bret Favre when he was buried on the Falcons depth chart before being traded to GB? Kurt Warner in the Arena League, Richard Sherman was a 5th rd pick.

Everybody doesn't come from the first round with a Johnny Manziel following.

Plus, when you have a new regime come in there is always going to be turnover.
Same thing happened with Pioli & Haley, Dorsey & Reid both sets had the rosters turned over probably by 75% or more 1-2 years in.

Attitude can be motivated. You can't teach speed, height or wing span.

Couldn't agree with you more. :thumb:

Brandon Jones

Bio: Two-year starter who finished with 41 tackles/5 interceptions/9 pass breakups as a senior after 35/2/4 the prior year.

Positive: Big cornerback best in zone coverage. Works to keep the action in front of him, effectively tracks the pass in the air, and shows a nice move to the throw. Solid run defender who wraps up when tackling. Works well with safeties.

Negative: Loses speed transitioning off the line to run downfield with opponents. Struggles in man coverage. Bites on ball fakes and double moves.

Analysis: Jones is a big defensive back who struggles making plays with his back to the ball. He projects as a ninth defensive back at the next level if he proves his worth on special teams.

Dante84 06-27-2014 12:33 AM

Gee I wonder if Dorsey cares about CB height?

Discuss Thrower 06-27-2014 12:38 AM

Sucks in man coverage huh..
