I'm one of the few lucky ones... I have a full head of gorgeous dark blonde hair at 37. My dad was bald before 25.

Hi son.

Do you sport a shaved head & goatee?

listopencil 01-15-2016 07:53 PM

I get my hair cut like this:

48 here. Glorious hair.

I don't have the head for the bald look.

I have practically the inverse of balding, the hair at the front of my hairline grows so fast and thick, it's like a non-ginger Conan O'Brien unless I keep it tight.

In the back it's still thick but grows so slowly and curly that I've never had such as the back of my neck covered by hair, let alone shoulders or back, even though I didn't cut the back for extended periods [some over a year] as a kid.

If I let all my hair growth go uncut for an extended period, I'd probably resemble something akin to Buster Poindexter. Doesn't look that far off when I first wake up if I haven't cut my hair in 3-4 weeks.

For reference, that's not far off my style right out of the barber. Just a bit longer. Same part, like it off my ears too. A month later and I'm transitioning from Conan O'Brien to Buster Poindexter all over again.

I have a full, but thinning head of hair (with barely any gray in it at 54 years old). And a full beard. No mullet.

I still have glorious hair. I'm growing it out right now (near shoulder length) and have been told I look like Leif Garret or Diamond Dave. My closest friends always called me Diamond Dave.

I usually wear it as does Listopencil. Just a smidget longer on the top. And I dye it.

That's right, I dye my hair after a groom.

My hair has streaks of every color in it. If I spend a lot of time out in the sun it starts looking strawberry blonde, if I don't get any sunlight it's so dark brown that it's almost black. I do have a few white hairs here and there as well as some silver ones. The only place I appear to be greying is my facial hair right around my chin.

Yeah, I have to go pretty short when I get my hair cut because it grows so quickly. It has finally thinned out now that I am approaching 50, which is nice.
