I also noticed this sign outside of a newer Super 8 by the AFB...

That is definitely not a decent hotel.

I'm all for saving a buck, but I'd camp in a tent first.

I agree with you except for the air part. It's pretty rare to find a gas station with free air these days. Most have gone with the little coin operated ones.

Really? QT still has free air. Which is nice.

Ya but you're in Kansas where it's always 1982.

Hey mother****er. If it's one thing we can do, it's gas stations. Drive through Healy KS one time and tell me if Healy Oil belongs in a town like that.

Really though, when you have a big leak and NEED air to make it to the tire repair shop or home, it can be hard to find. I can understand town vehicles. Bought the wife a new car 2 years ago, and we never take it off a paved road and there are precisely 0 patches in those tires. My pickup on the other hand had at least 8 in each of the back tires. I'm a little more sensitive to the air situation than most.

Accordingly, I'm picking up one of these after harvest so I never have to **** with it again.

Big ****ing deal

I'd rather sit on a pilot.

I don't have HBO at home but when I stay at hotels they always do. There's never anything I want to see on there. I can't imagine paying for it.

Nice! You know I have a smaller compressor, (3 hp I think) that you can have if you pay shipping. Or maybe you get your big ass out here and pick it up whilst getting shit faced.

Free air definitely is. I think QT might be the only gas station to offer free air anymore. I pulled in a Phillips 66 last week and had to pay 50 cents for air and on top of that I bought a bottled water. I was thinking to myself what my grandpa who's been dead for 35 years would've thought about me paying for water and air. I don't know where I'm going with this but you saying that made me think of it. Lol

Can I borrow it?

blaise 10-24-2014 09:26 AM

One thing I can't stand with a hotel is when they only have powdered creamer for the coffee.

Sorry. I'm not a pilot.
However, I do own a bomber jacket and some aviators.
