DJ will be the cap casualty imo. McKinney has Dorsey written all over him. We won't take a WR in the bottom of the first. Can't see Dorsey doing that. Maybe in the second or third but not down there. He likes LBers, DJ will get cut, and he likes the BPA. It's likely McKinney will be the pick imo.

The Chiefs have not drafted a QB in the first round in how long? I'm told that why we have not won a playoff game since 1993 or something like that.
That said DeVante Parker all day. |
If it looks like DJ is not going to be back at 100% I just don't see how you can keep him around.

Devante Parker would be my choice, but I'd be just as happy with Jaelen Strong.

Ten bucks says McKinney just turns into another Joe Mays

I'm thinking Funchess would be pretty good

What great options for a team needing a RB this year.
Hopefully none of those RB's end up going to the Chargers. |

I see McKinney as the second coming Brian Cox. Basically, he's Joe Mays on steroids. Also, he doesn't need to be great in coverage imo. He just needs to be competent (which he is). He is in the mold of Brandon Spikes but will be better. |
Jaelen Strong for me. He'd be a perfect fit for this offense, imo.

Going by BPA the answer is simple its Todd Gurley.
If he is still hurt it would be one hell of insight by the franchise. With Alex Smith you need an elite running game. Redshirt Gurley for a year, that will put Charles at age 30. Probably time to get rid of him by then, and you replace him with another elite running back. |
Who's the best TE out there ? Smith don't need no stinkin WR's
