True, but that will be a hefty order of growing and improving.

My hope is that Pinkel doesn't just anoint him starter because he can. If Lock outplays him, give him the job.

Coached a brilliant game today.

SEC West is 2-4, and Mizzou beat the two winners.

Will it really? Not sure he is that far away...especially considering some of things he did in 2013.

He was a 50% passer in 2013, bailed out by the best WRs in the country.

2014 saw the worst QB play since at least 2004, and likely of Pinkel's entire tenure. Fortunately, the 2014 defense was the best of my lifetime.

The ability to make the throws is there....more so what I was referring to in 2013. Some better decision making and not bailing on the pocket so quickly is the perfect kind of thing that can come with the maturity of another season.

Hey...if a kid comes in and is killing it and Mauk is struggling nobody is untouchable...play the best guy. Doubt the switch happens though.

I hope Mauk gets beaten out as well, but you play whomever is the best for week one.
