The guy was a former 3rd round pick so he does have talent and should have upside.

Working with Emmitt Thomas for a year won't hurt him, either.

This. He was later. I had absolute expectations that he would be a square of used toilet paper. I was very happy he was better than that.

BTW, I don't care if the article qualifies in the tl;dr category for some individuals . The kid is a local product so I'm rooting for him.

Hell, we were in the same classes at Pitt. Kids a good kid and a hell of a ball player.

Wow tough break

Not good news on Kansas City Chiefs undrafted CB DeVante Bausby. He broke his collarbone at Chiefs practice this week, the team confirmed.

Also for #Chiefs, bad news for rookie CB De'Vante Bausby. Broke his collarbone in Tuesday practice. Bausby is from KC and went to Pitt St

Yikes. That's really disappointing because the Chiefs liked Bausby. He went to Pittsburg State so he was one of the local stories among the Chiefs undrafted free agents.

I'm curious how the Chiefs handle this injury as they're not trimming their roster down to 53 players until September. Other NFL players who have broken their collarbone have been out anywhere from 6-12 weeks.

IR and stash him

Actually, barring the injury, this is perfect.

He can attend every meeting, watch from the sidelines, participate in drills and most likely, end up on short term IR and at worst, long term IR.

He had a steep hill to climb in order to make the 53 this year and a year of learning and preparing for 2016, when he'll have a much better shot at the 53, will help him considerably.

Oh oops. I guess I should read the entire thread first.

Fox might have a fighters chance to make this team then, if he can prove he can play st and keep his head on straight.

That last CB spot will be between him and Cooper.

We're keeping 6 CBs?

Smith
Peters
Gaines
Nelson
Fleming

Those are all locks at this point.
