Gates is like, the 22nd best BBQ place in Kansas City.

I give the edge to Oklahoma Joes, but I can see how people like Q39. To me, Jack Stack is actually behind Q39 in 3rd. But gates? Way way down the list. As well as LC's, but I've only ate LC's once so maybe they were having a bad day.

Its why I like Gates. Very good very consistent. I take out of towners there because they almost never have an awful day and will remake anything if you have a problem. Gates is very under rated for some reason.
