I have been a fan of this franchise for over 30 years now. Through good times and bad, the highs and lows. And frankly, there have been too many gut wrenching lows. I believe I actually lost my mind in the few moments following this abortion of a game.

But its just not worth it to me any longer to be out here, away from any semblance of game day atmosphere, and sit in front of my TV set to watch my team continually lose every meaningful game it plays. There is absolutely no payoff to it or for it.

But, I'm going to give them this season. I'm going to root very hard for them because I do think they have a decent opportunity this year. And if it doesn't end with at least an AFC Championship, I'm going to walk away. I just can't find the upside to it any more.

That's the good part and the sad part of tonight's game. I thought maybe I could start to enjoy it again, but then when they did ... all that ... it confirmed that I didn't really care. My connection to the team broke a couple of years ago, so wins and losses are just a shrug. It's all just a show.
