Through everything before I had held up pretty damn good. Never would have guessed it would be Jonny Gomes that brought out tears. I hadn't cried since 2006 when I got a phone call at three am in a motel in Wakeenee Ks. where I was working. It was my Mom telling me Dad had passed away 20 minutes ago of a massive heart attack. Thanks Royals what a ride. And thanks Mr Gomes every time you said TEAM. The word TEAM never fit a ballclub so much as these Royals.
