Gosh, I hope that Phil and his crew are able to get home from Punxsutawney.

Lezak is my favorite weather guy, but the past couple of years he's been getting too dramatic. He did predict 20-25" for the metro area from this storm when it was the 7-day forecast. Every day since then the predicted snowfall amounts have been reduced significantly. I guess it keeps viewers tuned in. Also, his LRC (Lezak Recurring Cycle theory) has not been accurate for quite some time even though he touts it as often as possible.

He pouts like a baby when the city doesn't get destroyed with some insane weather event.

What are they expecting for Shawnee? I don't watch the news. I just walk outside and go, oh shit, it snowed.

Looks like all the nasty shit is going to be a little north of you.

I am hoping it makes its way south to Johnson County. Any excuse to work from home sounds good to me.

Thanks for the link. I've been trying to figure out how to run these models myself. Anyone know how?

Looks like most of it will miss Columbia again.
