Alright, hypothetically, say Foles leads us to a win tomorrow and shreds the Jaguars defense like we rarely ever see Alex do, and he's also getting the ball out quick a lot of times...

where would you stand then? I would be ready to jump ship.

Still Smith.

This will be typical Andy Reid. Showcase a QB for a trade in the off season.

6 or 7 teams have won a Super Bowl after a in-season quarterback change.

It's certainly a doable feat and you don't need Tom Brady to make it happen.

So?

Who where they and under what circumstances did they become the starter and who did they replace?

What does hope have to do with it?

I hope our lowest paid player, locked in on the longest contract, shows up tomorrow with the skills and presence to eclipse Tom Brady.

Stupid question Alex is a good Qb. Also he don't cause mistakes. I understand wanting a first round qb but the unknown is what scares me.

15-2 in their last 17 regular season games, and last year they got their first playoff win in over 20 years.

Yep, that's treading water all right.

Who do you figure?
Smith is not at all like Bradshaw, Plunkett, Warner or Brady.

Foles is much more like those players I listed than Smith. Foles will chuck it deep like those players. Smith does not do that.
Head remove it from our arse.

Put yourself in Andy's boots for a second.

If you knew Smith was your guy 110%, and you wanted to avoid the 'controversy' talk, is there any way you give Foles this possible chance to shine? I don't think so.

Maybe because Smith came to him and said that he didn't feel 100%. And you know....because Foles is our backup QB. What's he supposed to do? Put Bray out there?

Never winning a Championship because the Chiefs are too gutless to take a chance is what scares me.
