Like most things Jeff Fisher, it probably involves trying to keep his job despite being a terrible coach.

Dak, wentz just to name two from this season alone.

Dak looks good bc he has the best OL in the NFL giving him ample time to throw. He'd look like ass in LA

I will say his poise in the pocket is pretty good. But after the 50th time he got blown up, it probably wouldn't be.

Dak has the best O Line in the league and no team has been able to stop their running game which opens up the field for him.

Because that's 8-8 shit!

Why? That's easy. Because Jeff Fisher is a moron. No other explanation.

Jeff Fisher says he's not ready. Fisher also said he didn't hear 80,000 fans yesterday chanting "we want Goff!"

What did that have to do with the question asked?

The Franchise 11-07-2016 07:51 PM

At this point.....it's worthless to start him. Let him get an offseason in the weight room and work on his mechanics. Hopefully next year he won't have Fisher coaching him....and he'll be better off.

Valiant 11-07-2016 09:00 PM

I just think he is learning the nfl speed and a nfl playbook. GUy didn't have that in college. He is behind because of it. They do not want to throw him to the wolves. Fisher is old school, probably still believes sit a rookie qb two years.

I believe sink or swim, especially if the starter sucks. BUt there are still nfl coaches that do not. FISHER was not going to be there long anyway. MAybe owners are setting up the scapegoat for shitty season?

Red Dawg 11-07-2016 09:05 PM

I doubt they dump Fisher just to hand Goff to a coach that doesn't want him. Didn't they give amongst ransom to get him? No way he gets canned.

lewdog 11-07-2016 09:06 PM

I firmly believe Goff is too reeruned to handle an NFL playbook this year.

Did any of you watch Hard Knocks?!

wazu 11-07-2016 09:25 PM

If starting Goff is a bad idea, then he never should have been drafted where he was. I think they should start him, though.

This has been Milkman's rationale for years: Draft a QB and make him sit.

And as I've always said, it's ****ing bullshit.

If a team takes a guy in the Top 5, let alone gives up a **** ton of draft choices, he NEEDS to start immediately.

This isn't 1970 or even 2005.
