The coaches see a big paycheck each week. That's all they care about.

"You look into Alex Smith's eyes, and you see directly into his soul. What's on display isn't pretty: Sadness. Sorrow. Anger. Disappointment. "Buck O'Neil used to say that life doesn't give you cherries, it gives you lemons, and what you make of that sour fruit reveals your character. Will you choke on the juice, or channel it into a more productive use? "Right now, standing in front of his locker after a bitter 19-17 defeat to Tampa Bay, Smith is trying to concoct a cocktail of optimism." |
The real question is why are they making millions and you think you can do enter for free.

They see what we see but their perspective is far different that's why Smith is still starting. His pay check is high and we traded two high picks for him so he will play. Benching him means he's done in KC and that will not happen during the season.
If Dorsey brings him back then he has no business being a GM. After 4 years he's worse than ever and his dead cap hit is finally acceptable to cut him. I would like for him to explain why you keep a staff and a QB that can't win the division? Our last home playoff game was the DV era for gods sake. |
