Yeah, this guy is just going to **** your truck up worse if you let him work on it again.

SAUTO 12-24-2016 02:44 PM

Wow.

I can't believe you agreed to pay over 700 for one 67 dollar coil and 8 20 dollar (and that is if they use the one piece champions)

Highest I've ever charged is 550 and that's with one coil and all 8 plugs broke and had to be extracted.

But I'm good at it.

Remember kiddos, don't buy a 5.4 3v.

Have you talked to them and explained why you think it should be the lower price ?
I was in that business many years and while I can say in all honesty I never once charged a customer more than what I quoted them, a lot of the time it was less. However, from time to time there was some miscommunication. And I did what was needed to make it right.
Just sayin not all shops are in it to scam you. I certainly never was, Jason apparently runs an honest shop. I'd go down in person, talk to them and if you're not satisfied then proceed from there.

Pay the bill. Chalk up the ****in' you took as education can be expensive at times. Bring it to SAUTO, get it fixed right for a fair price.

Have a hippie sammich while you wait.

When the motor is done I'll install a brand new, Ford, 3 year unlimited miles warrantied engine, nationwide through Ford,

For 6500 dollars out the door.with a new passenger side exhaust manifold

stumppy 12-24-2016 02:47 PM

I'd like to add that the POS mofo's who do scam people deserve to be burnt to the ground.

Hippie sandwiches are awesome.

Hippie meatloaf might be better

Meh, pay the bill, trash them on Google, and go somewhere else next time. I like R&G at 75th and Howard but they're probably only slightly more convenient than Sauto for you.

if 200 dollars gets your blood boiling good luck at life.

This situation is unacceptable.

Meh, $200 buys a lot of beer and I would raise hell over getting bent over myself. I would play them the recording, pay them what they verbally agreed on and get my rig. **** giving them a $200 Christmas bonus.

He specifically lied to me and said something to the effect of don't you remember in the phone conversation I said we wouldn't be doing the plug. That was never said, it was specifically asked and the answer was yes they were doing the plug.

If the coil was bad they are ****ing idiots for not changing the plug.

A bad plug will cause a bad coil.

Valiant 12-24-2016 07:49 PM

First off. I would not have them work on my truck anymore on this.

What I would do is explain the situation. Somehow not everything that was quoted was done. Then they raised the price. Then explain you forgot you had recording on tour phone and explain you have the.actual quote.

Get a discount on what was done. Then take your truck elsewhere.

If in the northland. Kevs muffler and brake is honest.
