I got a bacon cheese value burger just to grab something quick recently, and I've seen bigger sausage patties on the breakfast menu. About as big around as a silver dollar pancake. Tasted like I was eating a bun with ketchup.
Before long, White Castle burger patties will eclipse them.

I have celiac disease, so eating out is always a challenge. If I have to do fast food burgers, BK is my first choice because they don't cook the burgers on a grill where there might be cross contamination and they generally don't cook their fries in the same grease as their breaded items.
My go to is usually to order 2 or 3 double cheese burgers no bun (it gets rung up as "low carb"). A few years ago, they went from two slices of cheese to one and then the last time I went there, I found they had reduced the size of the patties quite a bit. They were tiny and quite a bit smaller than the slice of cheese. Of course, the price isn't smaller.
If I keep going there, I will probably have to start ordering Whopper patties instead. Unfortunately, ordering just patties frequently pops brain cells in the person ringing up the order.
