How the hell did Denver only get ONE 3rd round pick. Osweiler and Malik Jackson signed gigantic contracts elsewhere.

Not that I'm complaining.

My favorite is how everyone on here in week 4 said Dorsey was failing at his job

Maybe he'll use that 3rd round pick and draft another KeiVarae Russell since he's so damn good at his job ROFL

Hey now.

I've been assured by Dane and his minions that Dorsey's handling of the KeiVarae Russell monstrosity was the move of a "boss GM."

Sure, he had an almost unparalleled failure of a 3rd round draft pick, but he was smart enough to cut him immediately?

I love Dorsey, and hope he stays here for the rest of my adult lifetime. But the way CP makes excuses for the Russell debacle puzzles me.

So it's okay to miss on draft pricks as long as we cut/trade away for a lesser value more?

A lesser value than what we paid/gave up

Direckshun 02-24-2017 03:38 PM

I don't know. I think the Russell debacle was probably the worst stain on Dorsey since he's been GM, so I don't know how to put a happy face on that.

Very nice haul.

I didn't know this, but in his first NFL defensive snap, Russell got an interception. So Dorsey knows his stuff, other than that part about cutting him. I think they cut him because it's so hard to spell his first name. That would have been annoying to the administration.

He is failing is some respects for instance at the QB position. We have won jack shit so let's not blow him just yet.

We'll take him over and introduce him to the boys at the VFW HQs on Broadway.

Well, we did sweep the AFC West and win the division this year. That's not exactly "Jack shit." But still haven't made it to an AFC Championship game or God Forbid a SB....

I would use all the picks to draft really good players, or trade up for even better players, or trade down for more, not so good but still pretty good players.
