He has practically done nothing with an elite QB. I probably wouldn't trade for that.

I know this is a sizzler of a hot take, but Luck is overrated.
|
No thanks...they can keep him.

Would rather use a late rounder to trade for a CB from a team.. I think our WRs will be okay.
|
I'm down for a nice development year for our young WR, hope to see something out of at least one of them this year outside of Hill. However, I'm also not against adding additional young talent at the position. Mahomes gets the reigns next year, and I don't expect him to take us to the Super Bowl year 1. If we have a couple years to develop another quality WR, then we have plenty of time and should consider stacking on talent at the position if available.

I also saw that Monti Teo was picked up by the Saints and is expected to be a starter as a 2 down run stopping ILB. He had the highest graded performance of any player in the saints last preseason game, not worth much but a positive.
Were we not interested in him either? |

I mean, for a late round pick? Sure. A conditional 7th or something.

Teo is slow (no idea what his combine #'s were, but on the field he's slow as shit) and he isn't aggressive. He's just not a good player. |

And if you cut a guy like Wilson (who I don't like but knows the playbook), how long before Dorsett can contribute? The guy is slight of build and hasn't played well since being a 1st round draft choice. He'd probably be 5th or 6th on the depth chart and comes with a $2.2 million dollar cap hit this year, nearly twice that of Wilson. I don't see the value. |

Could we find ourselves in a situation where we have an expendable RB to trade? hopefully for someone more worthwhile than those mentioned above. If Hunt takes off, will we also need Ware, West, and Spiller? My understanding is that Spiller has impressed at camp etc. |
