I think that if Alex11 fails to utilize the coaching he is getting he should and would graciously accept PMll taking the helm. He has (IMHO) been told, indirectly, that the writing is on the wall. He has to be successful opening up the field, utilizing all his weapons, threading the needle even when it's uncomfortable, and correcting his previous negative behaviors inable to become a play maker and a game winner.
He has looked good in pre-season and as a seasoned veteran I expect the best unlike the majority of "Whiny Little Bitches" that KC Chiefs Fans have always been. I think he knows failure is not only a career ender here in KC but for the rest of his career.
I think we are going to see a new and improved Alex11 (not Lee Majors) who once he gets his game on, and feels confident in his own shoes, may just take this team all the way. Making assumptions the PMll can do it after 3 quarters in preseason is hilarious. I think he will answer the call and give the Chiefs no reason to go off plan with making PMll the starter next year.
But, (it's a big BUTT) if he fails to preform, he will be in there supporting PMll and the team in the quest for SB rings. If he does walks away with a ring because of PMll, so be it. Alex11 hoping they give his job away in hopes of a ring is ludicrous.
I have my money on Alex11 doing a fine job as our QB and I am thankful that the management brought us PMll just in case we need him this year
Why do you all have so little faith that a 33YO QB can't make changes and improve.
