Robinson looked really good yesterday. I don't know who he was crushing out there. Was he abusing a scrub?

Robinson is so good on those deep post routes. That won't be the last time we see Mahomes hit him on one.

Wilson may not be popular here, but seem like the coaches, including Dave Toub, like what he brings. He is strong, fast, tough and has good balance as a runner or covering kicks and decent blocker on offense and STs. He is not going to make a diving catch on an inaccurate pass, just does not have the skill, but there are a lot of guys who can make diving catches but don't grade as well as Wilson on everything else.

I guess we will see the final 53, but seems to me that Thomas and Wilson make the team.

How about just extending his damn arms?

I foresee all the receivers improving greatly once Mahomes gets the helm.

Yep, exciting times ahead. WRs are human and if they know there is a chance that the QB will actually throw it their direction they might put out a little more effort as well

It's not about effort.
It's about focus.

The rare opportunities that these receivers have to make plays when they get the ball has them taking their eyes off the ball before it hits their hands.

Not sure if this is the best thread but lost in some of the disappointment is the fact that Robinson got open a ton. I really am still a fan of Conley but Robinson really does look like he has a higher ceiling.

I don't want this sentence to derail my point and make it about Alex, but Robinson could really have had a huge day with a few better passes and reads.

Hopefully the coaches also notice and put some effort into getting him involved (pending accuracy in ball delivery) more this week.

Conley got open a ton too... Unfortunately I don't think that the spot they play is always in the read progression. But ****, I mean Reid has to see this on tape. Alex has to see this on tape. They must say, "well you know, maybe I should pick the other side more often..." And then Sunday comes and you watch these guys run open all day long and you get performances like we saw this week. I want to ****ing blow up the TV some days.

If Smith wouldn't have blown that pass or not missed him on others he would have been the hero of the game.

Well, at least you and I knew.

Wasn't there some article that Robinson and Smith worked together this spring/summer and were dialed in?

Not sure about that but he was down here in Dallas with Patrick for at least a week running routes with his QB coach

You'd think.

If I were a QB I'd want the easy stuff. And some of those would have been easy. Some are tougher throws but man. Some of those are easy.
