Hahaha, and check out the top of the KU one too - SI went for a wide net on that one.

(As well as top of the Mizzou cover too).

How's that cover working out for Tommy Boy? He was junk on National TV and we made him pay for it. Humiliated him in front of his home crowd. Oh and **** you Robert Kraft Your the Cheatiest. (see what i did there?)

I noticed that the week prior to big games recently, they split the cover... it was Brady/Ryan last year leading up to the SB. Same for the prior year. Guess they don't want a total meltdown.

This really is poised to be the year of the rookie RB.

Beyond the obvious Fournette, Cook and McCaffrey picks, there's Hunt, Foreman and even Jamal Williams. Tarik Cohen looked explosive as hell (a new Darren Sproles).

A lot or RBs have started to look old and slow over the last few years and there hasn't been a wholesale wave of talent to backfill behind them. This may be a year that changes that.

Hell, this may be a year that changes a LOT of key positions. This draft, more and more, is looking like it could be historically great.

Chill.

MagicHef 09-12-2017 10:38 AM

Hunt basically looked like the best player in the league this past week. I really hope you weren't expecting that to occur every week, SI jinx or not.

Heh. I still have that Daniel cover framed on the wall of my den, though. The apex of the program - at least in my lifetime.

Running back is one of the hardest positions to stay healthy for an entire NFL season. I expect he'll miss some time at some point in the season.

Yeah, this is not good. I'm getting worried about this game. Hope they don't overlook Philly. They'd love nothing more than to stick it to Andy Reid.

Why couldn't they put Alex Smith on the cover.
