He's living off the NE game. He's largely been the Alex Smith of old ever since. Ultra conservative, dink and dunk, average QB. The only difference the in games 1-4 ish is that he'd have a few big plays sprinked in and didn't throw a pick.

Absolutely.

This team looks uninspired. Honestly, I think they realized they were headed for another playoff disappointment right after the Pittsburgh game. They went all limp dick after that.

We need a spark. Idc about playoffs this year. We need to build the foundation for the future NOW.

Andy is either too stubborn or stupid to realize that This team have virtually zero chance of winning in the playoffs with smith.

Playcalling doesn't matter when Mahomes goes into freestyle mode. That said, I think you guys need to just be patient. Reed is going to stick with Alex the rest of this year.

Not that I think the team will suddenly turn it around with Mahomes, but I guess I'm ready to see him, too.

The team isn't going far into the playoffs, regardless of who is behind center. Might as well get a look at Mahomes, and let him get some regular season snaps.
