Rodney Harrison calling out the Chiefs...you gotta play with passion & if you wanna play for a championship you have to have heart.

That's on Andy.

No defense at all and terrible play calling. He’s getting too cute with those weak ass shuffle passes.

Soft, and mailing it in.

This is when leadership comes into play. When guys want to take it easy because the opponent is supposedly an easy win a good leader will get on his guys ass. Ray Lewis was famous for this as was Michael Jordan. Tom Brady is the same way.

We really miss Eric Berry's leadership. He was that guy for us. He never took a play off, always played with heart/passion no matter the opponent. I was hoping J Houston would take over that roll but I don't think he is as passionate about the game as Berry was.

It's not to be taken literally. Reid is simply deflecting the blame the media would like to put on the players and putting it on himself instead. He's letting the media know he is not going to talk bad about his players. It's one of the reasons his players love him.

Everyone on the team needs to get better and Reid knows this.

Agree with your take, however Reid can only say this so much before it becomes a cliche (it may already have) and a big part of his job as play caller is to put his players, whoever they are, in situations that give them the best chance to be successful. Not sure that is happening. The media's job is to gather information that is useful not repeated cliches.

Your QB should be that leader.

Yep. Coaches quit. Players quit. Andy lost this team.

Buffet line

He needs to be limited to one trip through the buffet line, instead of two, as punishment!

Doug Pederson wins a Super Bowl before Andy Reid does.

I'm remembering that brief period when Pederson was reportedly calling a lot of plays, and the Chiefs started to look like they had real potential, right through the playoff win.

Now Pederson's the head coach of the best team in the NFC

And we're stuck in this cycle of mediocrity

Makes you wonder if we let the wrong one go. Well, not really, I don't wonder.

Not one person wonders. Pederson is a better coach than fat Andy.
