All I know is I saw more flashes with Mahomes in preseason than Watson this year or Wentz last year. The offense needs a spark and he’s it.

Is it all Alex’s fault? No. We just know what we have there and it’s time to move on. I also know Reid’s not doing that unless he gets injured.

Well apparently pretty much every NFL QB has been ass for a bunch of games this season because overall Smitty is a top 5 QB stats wise so far this season in pretty much every category.

Using your logic 28 of all of the other 31 NFL QBs should get benched too.

Alex Montana? Did you really say that? More like Hannah Montana.

We didn't just have a bad game. 3 of our last 5 games, Dallas, Pittsburgh, and the giants weren't just bad... They were really bad. And what does bounce back look like? If it's early season Alex Smith, great. But considering he has done that in such a small % of his starts that doesn't seem likely.

Teams have adjusted to him. And there is only so much scheme will do for him. Alex is going back to pump faking his reads, checking down, and isnt extending plays with his legs like he was earlier. And he's completely abandoned his receivers... Again. The concern with everyone here is, we are now experiencing the bounce back. The way Alex has played the last 5 games is pretty close to how he's played the last 5 years except now he doesn't have a defense behind him.

Really... as much as we are all cheering for Mahomes, he has never faced live fire in the NFL. Watson has and succeeded against it, and Wentz is no longer a rookie and is quarterbacking the best team in the NFC.
