I recently speculated that the Chiefs might get as high as a 3rd rounder since Foles played in 7 straight games and won the Super Bowl MVP.

This was always projected to be a 6th.

If comp picks were heavily weighed and projected based on performance, high salary free agents that have shit seasons would not offer the clubs that lost them any recourse but overpaying for mediocre/aging players.
