We would be packaging the 4th with Parker for that 6th.

So Parker made about 13.5 over 3 years to be subpar at both safety and corner.

Dorsey was the kind of guy that would hit on a number in roulette on his first bet then spend the next hour pissing away his winnings.

Dumbass just never knew when to walk away from the table.

Any safety that’s a part of the AIDSfest that occurred during jump balls this year can go away.

They were beyond bad.

ChiliConCarnage 02-26-2018 03:49 PM

For a team that's broke, this seems like some decent cap space to get back for a not super valuable piece.

So far....

Chris Jones
Reggie Ragland
Justin Houston
Eric Berry

Those are the only guys that I can think of. Hali is next to be gone and Ford's status is up in the air. Bailey might be gone as well....who knows.

Step back year for the Chiefs? Seems likely on the surface but then again the defense wasn’t good last year anyways.

The Franchise 02-26-2018 03:53 PM

Chiefs released FS Ron Parker.

The move saves nearly $5 million in cap room. The Chiefs' defensive makeover continues after last week's Marcus Peters trade and public announcement longtime ILB Derrick Johnson would not return. Parker, who turns 31 before the season, struggled mightily in both run support and pass coverage last season, grading out 86th among 89 qualified safeties in Pro Football Focus' ratings.

We are going to have plenty of money to get whoever we want especially with the cap increasing $8-10 million this year.

Because they are mostly cutting off expensive, shitty players?

You’re next, Sorenson

That is a good list. The defense sucked horribly anyway, it’s not we’ve jettisoned Pro-Bowlers.

Hali should be next.

No way Sorensen should stay at his current number though. ****ing Dorsey man.

It's funny that we've been waiting for Eric Berry to come back so badly and to give us the push we need on our defense to make it further into the playoffs, and he's the only one left in that secondary coming back.
